The Accounting Clerk supports the financial operations of our customers by handling daily tasks like data entry, processing invoices/payments (AP/AR), reconciling accounts (banks, credit cards), and maintaining financial records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies through the use of the Odoo ERP system

Responsibilities

  • Processing, verifying, and entering invoices, issuing payments, and creating customer statements/invoices.
  • Posting detailed transactions (dates, amounts, types) into ledgers and accounting systems.
  • Balancing assigned accounts, reconciling bank statements and matching receipts.
  • Maintaining organized financial files, managing document retrieval, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Preparing basic financial reports.
  • Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices.

Must Have

  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Associated degree in Accounting
  • Google Workspace experience
